About House of Friendship
House of Friendship is a Christian charitable human service agency that presently serves over 42,000 low-income women, men, youth and children annually through 18 programs. Our program areas focus on: Suppporting Healthy Lives (Addiction Services); Feeding and Assisting Those In Need (Community Services); Building Strong Families and Strong Communities (Family Services);and, Providing Shelter and Supportive Housing (Residential Services).
Support Services include chaplaincy and spiritual discovery, life-skills training, referral and advocacy.
House of Friendship works in collaboration with many other human service agencies, churches of various religions, and multiple faith groups. We are a member of: The Food Bank of Waterloo Region; The United Way of Kitchener-Waterloo & the Townships of Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich and The Volunteer Action Centre.
