House of Friendship is championing ShelterCare in partnership with members of the Inner City Health Alliance and community partners.
Established in 1939, House of Friendship walks alongside individuals and families in Waterloo Region who need food, housing, access to vital community resources, or addiction treatment.
For adults struggling with homelessness, House of Friendship has operated an Emergency Shelter program for 80 years, and offers permanent supportive and affordable housing for 86 men and women, supporting them as they recover from homelessness.
