All of our RAAM clinic locations are walk-in clinics, accessible to individuals of any age. To get started within the RAAM program, please walk into the location most convenient for you. Please note after you have registered with the clinic and have completed the initial intake, any follow-up appointments with the Nuse Practitioner, Peer Worker or Addiction Counsellor can be booked through phone or on site.
Although RAAM is a walk-in service, if you would like to complete our registration form prior to attending one of our clinic locations, please click here.
Should you have a health card, please bring this with you to your first appointment. You do not need a health card to receive services from any of our RAAM clinics, however if you are working with one of our medical providers and are prescribed medication your pharmacy may require that we provide this information to them when sending your prescription.
What to expect during your first visit to the RAAM clinic?
When you attend RAAM for the first time, you will be greeted by one of our Peer Workers who will explain clinic processes, assist you in filling out the registration package and provide any immediate support you may need. Individuals would then meet with one of the Addiction Counsellors for a brief intake to discuss their substance use history and goals for treatment. In addition, they will assess any withdrawal symptoms the participant might be experiencing and if the individual will need to meet with our Nurse Practitioner for medical and/or medication support. Once a participant has completed the intake process, they are able to schedule follow up appointments with the Peer Worker, Addiction Counsellor or Nurse Practitioner for continued care.
