Addiction Centre Construction Making Progress

Team members from our Men’s Residential Addiction Treatment program were excited to visit our new treatment centre in Cambridge.

The team from our Men’s Residential Addiction Treatment services program is getting excited! They had the chance to tour our new Addiction Treatment Centre, currently under construction in Cambridge and can’t wait until they get the chance to move in!

They were thrilled to see the progress that is being made, and dream of the day when they can move in to the new centre, because it means that they will be able to help more people throughout Waterloo Region who struggle with addiction.

When opened, the Addiction Treatment Centre will include our Men’s Residential Addiction Treatment program, but will also have space for various day treatment, counselling and workshops that will help men, women and families navigate through the tough journey of addiction.

Construction is expected to be complete in May, with move-in set for July. We look forward to sharing more updates with you as this building nears completion. In the meantime, you can visit www.houseoffriendship.org/closetohome to learn more about the Close  to Home project, and stories of families supported through our addiction treatment programs.

We’re so thankful for the ongoing support of this community on our journey! #StrongerTogether
