House of Friendship is founded on the idea that healthy communities are built on people feeling connected to others and confident that they can thrive. Where each person matters.  Our mission is to walk with those who need food, housing, community resources or addiction treatment. When you remember House of Friendship with a gift in your Will, you ensure that support is available for those struggling with poverty or addiction.

Thanks to our generous donor community this will continue into the future – long after you’re gone. Your gift will provide safe shelter and supportive housing and  ensure that our community’s most vulnerable members can find a place to call home and successfully live independently.

You’ll feed hungry neighbours by providing more than 20,000 food hampers and 4,000 Christmas hampers each and every year. No one should have to choose between heat and groceries. But every day, people in our community are forced to do just that.

You will change the odds for children in low-income neighbourhoods by helping them overcome the barriers that poverty creates. You will create brighter futures and future leaders.

Your kindness will give hope and healing through addiction treatment. Addiction doesn’t discriminate. With a wide range of addiction services available for free, community members can bravely walk the road to recovery.

Sadly, we know that these needs are not going anywhere. That’s where you and your legacy come in. You have the power to make a life altering gift. You can ensure that there will be someone there to walk with those in need long after you’re gone.
