Since 1996, friends of House of Friendship have been gathering at Grand Valley Golf and Country Club on the second Wednesday in July raising over $1 million since the tournament’s inception!
While it’s been a while since we’ve been able to meet together, we’re thrilled to announce that we are returning to the golf course this year!
Join us on Wednesday, July 13 to Play with Purpose!
Register with confidence: In this unique year, we will gladly refund your registration fee if public health guidance changes our plans, if the pandemic situation changes and you are no longer comfortable attending, or if you feel unwell on the day of the event.
Money raised from this annual favourite provides support to House of Friendship’s Emergency Shelter, where men experiencing homelessness receive 24/7 care and support, including on-site health care and help with a permanent place to call home.
More than 150 golfers join in each year to enjoy a barbecue lunch before taking to the greens for a fun shotgun round of golf with lots of competitions and prizes (and a few mulligans!).
Afterwards, while sharing in a delicious buffet dinner, golfers will hear stories that their support makes possible for men experiencing homelessness, followed by a live auction to Fund Belonging in support of our Shelter programs.
A special thanks to our amazing sponsors!
