No One is Too Young to Make a Difference

Luc Parrow has donated thousands of dollars in support of men at our Charles Street Men’s Shelter by making and selling bracelets.

Luc Parrow has a big heart.

At only six years of age, Luc was so inspired by the “5 Days of Giving” at his school, Laurelwood Public School, that he wanted to do even more to make sure everyone has food to eat.

“I was concerned about people not having enough food,” said Luc.

So, in his spare time, Luc started making bracelets that he could sell to help raise money in support of the men at our Charles Street Men’s Shelter.

He has made more than 300 bracelets so far, and is  well on his way towards his ultimate goal of donating $8,000 to support meals at our Shelter.

His efforts have even been recognized by Brady and Tara on CHYM-FM, selected as their first ever “Local Hero.”

Thank you, Luc, for caring for those in need in Waterloo Region. You have proven that no one is too young to have an impact!
