Thank You for Playing with Purpose!

Nearly 200 golfers joined us at our Friendship Golf Tournament on July 10, 2019, Playing with Purpose in support of men at our Charles Street Men’s Shelter.

We couldn’t have done it without you! Nearly 200 golfers came together on July 10 to Play with Purpose at our 24th Annual Friendship Golf Tournament, raising a record-breaking $72,000 to help combat homelessness!

All of the proceeds from the tournament will be used to provide support to the men who stay at our Charles Street Men’s Shelter, helping them on their journey to find a place to call home.

Golfers had the opportunity to learn more about the work at the Shelter, including a chance to hear the journey of one of our team members, Shawn, who has journeyed from addiction and homelessness to working at our Shelter, providing the same support and encouragement he once received.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made this special day on the links possible, to the donors, golfers and volunteers who took the time out of their busy schedules to hit the links in support of the men at our Shelter. Thank you!

Thank you also to Doon Valley and Grand Valley Golf Courses, who served as great hosts to this year’s tournament!

We hope to have you join us at next year’s Friendship Golf Tournament, set for Wednesday, July 8, 2020.
