You Helped Raise $57,000 to Send Kids to Camp!

More than 100 Trekkers joined forces on Saturday, May 5 to help send 130 children to week-long, overnight summer camp.

We will be able to send 130 children to summer camp this year, thanks to you!

Trek4Kids Hike and Bike 2018 saw more than 100 caring residents come together on Saturday, May 5, 2018 all united with one cause – sending children to week-long, overnight summer camp, an unattainable reality for many.

The sunny day added to the energy and enthusiasm of Trekkers, who biked, ran or hiked the Iron Horse Trail, starting at the Thrift on Kent parking lot in downtown Kitchener. Those who made it to the end of the entire 5km route were rewarded with a sweet treat – S’mores cooked over a camp stove in Monarch Woods. This gave participants a chance learn more about the difference that their support is making to children in Waterloo Region, and their families.

The combined efforts of Trekkers, volunteers, donors and sponsors raised an amazing $57,000 to help send children to camp. Thank you for your support!

Donations are still being accepted. If you want to help send children to camp, you can donate here.
